Meet Co-founders

Phillip A. Newhard

With over a decade of hands-on real estate experience, Phillip A. Newhard is a results-driven leader specializing in commercial and residential property management throughout the Hudson Valley and Northeast. As General Manager at National Resources since 2016, he directs multimillion-dollar developments, excelling in tenant relations, site operations, negotiations, and strategic project execution.

A former Multi-Million Dollar Listing Agent at Berkshire Hathaway, Phillip quickly mastered client guidance, contract negotiation, and high-value deals. He holds a Bachelors in Entrepreneurship from Marymount Manhattan College. He was inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society on March 15, 2016, in recognition of high academic achievement and commitment to a life of wisdom, honor, and aspirations.

An award-winning professional—recipient of the MMC Entrepreneurship Award and Presidents Club 2021—Phillip is deeply engaged in the community through Knights of Columbus, Hudson Valley Young Professionals, and volunteer initiatives. Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive, he delivers exceptional results for every property under his care.

  • Successfully delivered a $22M redevelopment project, including 140,000 sq ft of Ulster County BOCES classrooms and training spaces, along with 30,000 sq ft of office, conference, and warehouse space for Archtop Fiber—completed with zero injuries or violations. Oversaw a full rebuild including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire systems, windows, roof, and parking lot restoration.
  • Property manager for 150 acres and approximately 1.5 million sq ft of commercial and educational space.
  • Oversaw a $10M grant application and reimbursement process through the Rebuild and Restore NY program, awarded by Governor Hochul.
  • Managed permitting and redevelopment approvals with the Town of Ulster Water Department, Wastewater Department, Building Department, and Planning Board.
  • Maintained a strategic working relationship with the Ulster County Economic Development Corporation on redevelopment initiatives.
  • Supervised a 10-person on-site maintenance team to ensure smooth daily operations and facility upkeep.
  • Managed contract administration for landscaping, lawn maintenance, snow and ice control, plumbing, and electrical services.
  • Maintained strong communication and relationships with tenants, municipal authorities, school officials, and contractors.

Meet Co-founders

Surinder Singh

Surinder has been a real estate investor and manager for over 20 years.  He has managed and/ sold over $6M in real estate in the New York Metro area over the past few years.  He has an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and is on the Board at Brooklyn Community Housing & Services, overseeing a $12M nonprofit dedicated to providing housing and support for formerly homeless individuals and families.
